My Thoughts
This is a really nice steamer basket. I actually like it much better than the metal ones. It fits nicely into any pan you need it to fit down into without scratching it or hurting the pan itself. The silicone bends and shapes to the pan, unlike the metal ones, and also unlike the metal ones the silicone itself doesn't get scalding hot so you can actually touch every part of the basket and not be afraid of getting burned. Which is great if you have small kids or like me, small pets who are too nosy for their own good sometimes.
I've used this basket to steam veggies and other things and it has done nothing but work great. I totally recommend it. It also stores away really nicely when you aren't using it.
This basket also came with a veggie peeler, which works good also. What can I say really about a veggie peeler other that the blade is nice and sharp and it fits nicely in the hand so when you are peeling a lot of veggies it doesn't start hurting after a while. It works great, so far.
