My Thoughts
I've just recently started painting and learning about the different brushes and what not and was truly excited to try out a bunch from US Art Supply. This set is really nice and is a great starter set for a beginner like me. It comes with all the basic brushes to get someone started in painting but can also help out a more experienced artist because you can never really have too many brushes.
Now when it comes to the quality of each brush it is what you would expect for a beginners set. They are by no means like some of the more expensive sets but they do work very well. I feel like the metal clasp on the brush holds the bristles in nice and snug, but even still I did experience shedding when painting with a couple of the brushes. However, I still feel like for a beginning set they are still fairly nice.
The best part is this is a very budget friendly set so teaching kids how to care for their brushes and how to paint, this set would be great for. For someone just learning to paint and not able to buy the most expensive brushes, this set is good for. You have all of the brushes you need to paint with and at a fair quality for the price, you can't beat it.
