My Thoughts

Look this said it was for cats too along with dogs and I am always on the lookout for a good grooming brush. Gave this one a try and I hate it and so do my cats. In all honesty, I didn't know what I was expecting when I got this comb but it's useless on animals with short hair. It just drags through it and that's it. Unless your pet has some thick long hair this comb isn't going to do anything. I ended up passing this brush onto a friend who has a long-haired shaggy dog and it seems to work well but they have said that they have had better combs but they did like the metal comb part and glad that it wasn't made from plastic like some other combs. The prongs are also, on both sides, pretty far apart so brushing through the animal's fur is pretty useless and doesn't do much if they have short hair.

Overall, I don't recommend this comb, brush, rake, or whatever you want to call it unless you have a long thick-haired cat or dog and then it might not work as well as you think it might.

I do want to add that it's a nicely made comb. It sits nicely in the hand, easy to hold and use. It's also lightweight and the comb part is made of metal and not plastic. So, when it comes to the design and actual product it's great. It just doesn't work with short-haired animals.

My Thoughts

These cheat sheets are awesome. Now if I am not sure about something I can easily check out these on my fridge and see exactly what is on my diet and check out the calories, fat, and other important info. I can also plan out my meals and snacks each week and have them at a glance. I like the fact I can erase them and reuse them all the time. They are also easy to clean. These have been great and anyone who wants to get on a low carb diet will get a lot of good out of these. It makes it easy to stay on the low carb train.

{Recipe} Creamy Tomato Cucumber Salad #cucumber #tomato #salad

Hey everyone!

I have such an amazing and super simple recipe to share with you guys.

With it being summer time the last thing I want to eat is something hot and heavy. This fresh cool salad is bursting with fresh veggies and the creamy dressing won't weigh you down.

This salad can be paired with any kind of meat or bbq and will be a big hit with the family.

Feel free to tweak the dressing or add in more veggies to make it your own. Instead of using mayo try using greek yogurt with a splash of lemon juice. Maybe throw in some garlic. You can't mess this salad up even if you tried.

Have fun in the kitchen and make the food you will love.

The Recipe

Creamy Tomato Cucumber Salad

1 cucumber
1 bunch sweet tomatoes
1 small red onion
1 pkg small mozzarella balls
1 heaping tablespoon fresh dill
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup sour cream
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Wash all the veggies and set aside. Peel your cucumber or leave the peel on if desired. Cut cumber lengthwise and use a spoon to clean out the seeds. Once cleaned slice cucumbers into bite-sized chunks or slices. I cut the cucumber into fourths and then cut into bite-sized pieces. Put into a large bowl. Slice tomatoes in half and the onion into thin slices. If you want to slice the mozzarella balls in half or even forth go ahead otherwise drain off any liquid and put them with the veggies.

For the dressing mix together the mayo and sour cream along with dill, salt, and pepper. Taste to make sure the seasoning is to your taste, if not, add more dill, salt, or pepper. Once to your taste mix into veggies and be careful not to break up the tomatoes too much.

 Chill and enjoy.

My Thoughts

I love silicone so much. Like seriously, I have so much of it that it's kinda scary. I have it for everything from baking, stirring, and now freezing.

I go through a lot of ice because I have to have it in everything that I drink. Normally I buy at least two bags a week because I can't stand the taste of our water. That's where these ice molds have come in handy. Two of these spears or three of the cubes fit into my tumbler and keep my drink cold for hours.

These silicone molds are easy to use and even easier to pop the ice right out of them. The best part is that these molds can be used for more than just ice. I've already used the square ones to make mini cheesecakes in which nothing has stuck whatsoever.

My Thoughts

There are so many different fitness trackers on the market I honestly couldn't tell you where to begin to pick out one that would be right for you. Honestly, I go for ones that are in my price range and then go from there.

That's where this fitness tracker comes in, while it's not on the pricey side it's packed with great functions and the app is pretty awesome too which makes this tracker easier to use, keep up with your sleeping habits, calories burned, steps, and so much more. I've just been using it for the last few days and it's become a staple of my accessories, with the only time I take it off is to shower.

Now, there are a few cons but way more pros. It's easy to charge on a USB charger or even through a computer USB port. However, it doesn't come with a charger or USB plug so you do have to buy it separately if you don't already have one. However, it charges within an hour or less depending on how drained the battery. The tracker does come with two bands but you can't buy extra so if one of them breaks that's it for that band. So if my purple band breaks I have a black backup but that's it. The band itself, however, is a great size and fits even my fat wrists, which really says something. However, the buckle part of the band is made from plastic and not metal, which is a major con for me because as soon as the buckle breaks that's it for the band that you can't buy replacements of. For the tracker itself, it's easy to use with just a swipe of the screen and you can easily see your heart rate, steps taken, miles traveled, and calories burned.

Overall this tracker isn't close to being a Fitbit but it's great for keeping track of the important things like heart rate and steps. I know it says that it can do a lot more like let you know when you have messages and stuff but honestly I don't care about that stuff. I want it to do just what it does and it does it well. I am happy with my tracker and love wearing it.

My Thoughts

This clutch/wallet is great. It's a lot darker in person than in the pictures, which makes me like it a lot more. I can fit everything I want inside this wallet and it also has a place for my change to go too.

It's made from beautifully soft leather that has a nice zipper that slides easily from one end to the other with no catches or problems. It came with a wrist strap that was able to go on the corner of the wallet and it makes it to where I can carry my wallet anywhere and not have to lug my purse around when I don't want to. It was kinda hard to push in the clip part but after a good few seconds, I was able to push it in and clip the wrist strap in place.

Overall it's very well made and the stitching is even and tight. I've been using this wallet for a couple of weeks now and it's still looking beautiful with no wear or tear and everything is holding up just as expected.
