The Alpha Shade works great in my car. It helps to block out the sun so my car doesn't get as hot as it usually does without it. I have black interior so it gets pretty hot but the Alpha Shade works great in keeping the hot summer sun from heating up my car so much. It fits my windshield great too and is easy to put up and take down. I love that I can fold it down to such a small size that I can actually fit into my glove box to get it out of the way. It also comes with it's own case to keep it in so it's super easy to find and keep clean. I am much more impressed with this car shade than I am with all of the other ones that are huge, bulky, and much harder to put in place.
