This Asian snack box is amazing and full of variety. You have everything from noodles to chips to candy. Everything is super fresh and tastes great. This is such a great way to taste different Asian snacks because there is nothing that is in here twice. There were a few things that were the same but just different flavors but that was completely fine with me as there were such a different variety that it didn't matter. Great box to start exploring new things with.

{Foodie Product Review} Gourmet Living Balsamic Vinegar of Modena #balsamicvinegar

Balsamic Vinegar of Modena

With its increased popularity among diners and chefs, there are hundreds of varieties of balsamic vinegar. The Italian Consortium allows only two "ages" - 12 and 25 years - to be included on a label for traditional DOP balsamic vinegar. The age or quality of most commercial Saba, Condimento, and some IGP and DOP labelled vinegars is difficult to determine. 

Cooking and Aging Process: 
Balsamic Vinegar occurs from the fermentation of cooked must and its aging in a series of wooden barrels. After pressing the grapes and removing the skin, seeds and stalks, the mixture is cooked in an open containers to achieve a concentrated must through evaporation. The cooled must becomes dark brown and viscous with a high sugar content. 

The initial barrels are made with soft porous wood to encourage evaporation and acidification. The musk is later transferred to the hardest wood (oak and mulberry) for aging. Fermentation caused by osmophilus yeasts give rise to the oxidation. Over time the wine must undergoes considerable change with regard to sugars, alcohols, aldehydes and organic acids giving rise to a bouquet of delicate yet intense flavors and aromas. 

IGP Certified Balsamic Vinegar: 
IGP balsamic vinegar consists of a mixture of wine must and wine vinegar to produce an acidity level of no less that 4.5%. The Italian consortium monitors the aging process, bottle labelling and origin of the wine must. There are several grades of IGP certified vinegars based on taste and viscosity. Gourmet Living's "Goccia de Oro" is a premium balsamic vinegar. 

Cooking with Balsamic Vinegar: 
Given its versatility, balsamic vinegar tends to enhance the flavors of most food. It is traditionally served with Parmesan cheese, salads, fish and vegetables and even ice cream.

My Thoughts

I am going to be honest, I've never had or used this type of Balsamic vinegar before because it is so expensive and I don't use it very often. However, now that I have had this I am going to be using it much more often.

This balsamic is amazingly thick and you can instantly see that it is not watered down. The taste of this balsamic is amazing with such a balanced taste of sweet and sour that makes it easy to use in different dishes.

I've already used this balsamic for veggies and also on honey glazed balsamic chicken and everything has been fantastic. I couldn't recommend this balsamic anymore if I tried, it is just so amazingly good.

My Thoughts

I am a huge gamer and I can go through batteries like no ones business so it's important to have rechargeable because batteries can start to cost a lot if you have to replace them every other day because you are binge playing that new game. This is where plug and play comes in handy.

Plug and play allows you to plug the controller in while you are still able to play the game. This one works great with all of my Xbox One controllers along with the rechargeable battery pack.

My Thoughts

I love these types of makeup clothes because you don't have to use anything with them. No kinds of cleansers or soaps. You simply wet the towel and the towel itself has two different sides. The softer side removes all of your makeup, including water proof mascara and foundation. The other side of the towel is the rougher side and that is used to exfoliate your skin, which feels amazing.

I have used these types of clothes before and they have all worked really great for me. It's something with the type of fabric used that really helps to gently scrub the makeup off with just water. They work great and this one is no different. After you are finished you just simply throw it in the washer and it comes out nice and clean.

There is one thing though. Never ever put fabric softener on these clothes because it will ruin them. I also don't put mine in the dryer, just to make sure it stays away from any type of fabric softener or fabric stuff besides the detergent. All of that stuff can potentially mess up the cloth, so just be careful.

My Thoughts

So, a battery organizer is something that you never really think you need and then you get one and then think to yourself why haven't you had one of these before. At least that is how it was for me. I go through so many batteries and lose so many too just because they get lost in the junk drawer.

Well, not any more because this battery organizer rocks. Not only does it hold a fair amount of different sized batteries but it also has a battery tester that comes in handy all to well.

Since getting this I have been using it like crazy. I ended up putting it into a drawer where I can keep lose batteries here in the organizer and everything is right at my finger tips. The tester is great because sometimes I don't know if a battery is dead or not and now I will always know. It works great and keeps all my batteries together.

My Thoughts

My cats love this thing. They are always fighting and playing with this and each trying their best to get the ball out of this thing. I've even made it a game so when they are playing I will throw them a treat if I feel like they have tried their best to get the ball. It's pretty cute and funny all at the same time. Also, they love the mouse on top too because usually one is trying to get the ball while another is trying to get the mouse and they both keep moving the whole toy across the room. It's a great toy for any age cat.
