My Thoughts

I LOVE fresh pineapple and honestly, buying fresh pineapples are so much cheaper than buying the canned stuff. However, I can't lie that it sometimes can be a pain to slice and core the pineapple, because some people do not like the harder more fibrous core. However, with this set it makes it so much easier to core and slice a whole pineapple in no time. The slicer and corer are both made for stainless steal, so I know it is going to last. It has a nice grip handle that doesn't slide when using it. It's easy to hold and use with the pineapple and the corer is easy to use with apples and other fruits but I have also used it to core cupcakes and muffins to add a surprise in the middle. No matter how you choose to use these products they work great and I couldn't be happier with them.

My Thoughts

I am simply in love with this cell phone. I originally had an older Samsung Galaxy, which I loved and still love but it needed to be replaced because the memory on it was just horrible and no matter what I did I never had enough. Not anymore, I have plenty of memory now with this Xperia and I can add up to 256 gigs more makes it amazing. I can do everything I want to do and more with this phone. I have a huge presence online so being able to post on instagram and twitter is a must for me but also Snapchat too. I can do all of that with ease with this phone as it is a breeze to use. I also love all of the personalization you can do to this phone also with live wallpapers and stuff. The phone itself works great and is crystal clear on my end and my callers end. It pairs easily to my wifi and is just great all around. I didn't think I would love another type of cell phone like I have the Galaxies but Sony has made me a believer in another brand of cell phone.

{Recipe} Southwestern Sweet Potato Noodle Bowls #eatfresh

Hey everyone!

I love to cook and now that the weather is warming up and the winter weather is being knocked out it is time to break out the salads and veggies bowls that I have missed so much. I don't know what it is but in the winter, the last thing I want to eat is a salad. Instead I want warm comfort foods. Well, I am now ready for some of these yum nums and can't wait to start making this. I, of course, will change it up to my tastes, but for the most part, this sounds delish and I will make it soon.

Before then here is something that sounds so yummy and that avocado sauce might become a staple in my salad life.

Recipe

Southwestern Sweet Potato Noodle Bowls

Ingredients

For avocado lime sauce (you will have leftovers):

1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
1 cup cilantro (can substitute with parsley)
1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
2 tablespoons tahini
Juice of 1 lime
About 1/3 cup water, add more to thin if needed
Sea salt and black pepper, to taste

For salad:

Handful of mixed baby greens
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved or quartered
1 teaspoon each minced fresh cilantro and parsley, plus more to garnish
Juice of 1/2 lime, plus more to garnish
1 small sweet potato, peeled and spiralized
2 teaspoons olive oil or avocado oil, divided
1/3 cup cooked black beans
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne
1/8 teaspoon ground coriander
Sliced avocado and green onion, to garnish

Directions

For the sauce: Whirl all ingredients in the food processor until completely smooth. Transfer to a jar. (There will be plenty of the avocado dressing leftover to use as a dip or spread.)

For the salad: In a large bowl, toss the tomatoes, herbs and greens together. Squeeze lime on top and set aside.

Run the sweet potato through the spiralizer to make noodles, or use a vegetable peeler to turn it into ribbons.

Heat 1 teaspoon of the oil in a frying pan over medium heat, then lightly sauté the noodles for 2–3 minutes or until slightly softened. Transfer the sweet potato noodles to the bowl of greens and tomatoes.

Without cleaning the pan, heat the remaining oil. Toss in the black beans, cayenne and coriander, and stir fry until warm. Add to the sweet potato noodle mixture. Stir everything in the bowl well to combine. Either add the avocado sauce and toss to coat at this point, or plate the salad and drizzle the sauce on top. Serve with sliced avocado, green onion and lime wedges if desired.

An interesting bite-sized spin on a holiday classic! Tasty nuggets made with a combo of turkey breast, duck bacon and chicken breast. Oven or deep-fry preparation.

My Thoughts

I have to admit that even though I am trying to live a much healthier lifestyle with the food that I eat, I can't say no to a good chicken nugget and boy are these good. I knew when I saw them that I had to give them a shot with them being three different kinda of meat, chicken, turkey, and duck. These have a great flavor and aren't just bland nuggets. While these were frozen you can totally tell that they are made from actual meat that taste fresh. You can taste the awesome chicken and turkey and the succulent duck. I never thought I would have a duck nugget but I have and I like them a lot. I can't find them where I live, maybe one day I will but I will be happy to buy more of them and have them shipped to me because I feel so much better having these than anything else on the market. These are great!

Girl let me tell you, this mud mask is freaking amazing. Like seriously! I honestly expected it to be like every other face mask that I have used before, and anyone that knows me knows that this chick loves a good face mask. Well, I used this one and the first thing I noticed when I took it off was the pores on my nose were totally smaller. Yeah! They were totally smaller. Couldn't believe it! Something actually claimed it could make them smaller and totally did, while cleaning out all the gunk that was stuck in there too. Also, I am loving the gentle exfoliation you get with this mask too. It feels great and my skin just glows after using this that I don't even want to wear makeup because it looks so good. Not only that, but a little actually goes a long way with this mask. You don't have to use half the tube on your face to actually get results. Finally, a face mask that is the bomb and I love it. Will be buying this legit when I run out.

My Thoughts

I have used a sonic toothbrush for years and it was time to upgrade and this was a great upgrade. It works great and I get a great cleaning when I use this brush. The brush head is nice and soft and doesn't irritate my gums and they can be changed with no problems for either another person or after a few months when it needs to be changed.
