My Thoughts
What an amazing rock tumbler. I have had a few of these in the past and none of them have ever been even close to as good as this one nor did they ever come with the stuff that came with this kit. The fact that it comes with a half a pound of stones makes this kit great but add in the polishing stuff and then the actual quality of the tumbler and you have one of the best kits on the market.
The tumbler itself is made out of heavy steal so it stays where you put it and doesn't slide or move around like other tumblers would do. The barrel itself is perfect being made out of heavy rubber with a lid that fits tightly so nothing comes out and everything stays securely inside the barrel. Another great part about this kit is the fact that the barrel being made out of heavy rubber it makes it more insulated which makes it much quieter to use than other tumblers. Because I can tell you that other tumblers were loud and because it took days to polish the rocks that it was not a fun or quiet hobby to do in your house. However, with this kit it is so much quieter that you can have it set up in a spare room or even the dining room and you won't hear it all through the house.
This is a wonderful tumbler set for any age and because I make jewelry it helps cut down on a lot of the cost when it comes to buying pre-polished stones. Now I can do it myself and it's so much more cost effective and my bottom line loves that. Great set that I will continue to use for years to come.
